Job summary

CHEP in Mexico City seeks a Senior Financial Analyst - LATAM to oversee accounting and financial reporting across LATAM, ensuring IFRS and local GAAP compliance and alignment with corporate policies. You will liaise with cross-functional teams, external firms, and auditors to drive accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Requires 5 years in accounting/financial reporting within multinational settings, strong Excel and SAP skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
Experience managing accounting activities across LATAM or multinational environments.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP regulations.
Experience supporting statutory audits and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end, semi-annual, and year-end close activities with timely financial reporting.
Prepare, review, and post journal entries maintaining general ledger integrity.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly.
Coordinate with Tax, AP, and Collections to ensure compliant operations.
Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and automation.
