Henkel Mexicana seeks a Packaging Engineer to lead development, qualification, and commercialization of packaging solutions across new products, channels, and markets. You will collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Innovation, Safety, Quality, and Procurement to identify opportunities meeting consumer and business needs.

The role requires 2–5 years in packaging development/engineering, strong knowledge of packaging design and quality systems, and an advanced English level.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field.
• Experience with packaging development and/or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of packaging design, quality systems, plant operations, and manufacturing equipment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
• Passion for innovation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced level of English proficiency.
• Key competencies include problem-solving, project management, communication, attention to quality and adaptability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development, qualification, and commercialization of packaging solutions across growth initiatives (new products, channels, and markets), quality improvements, material sourcing, sustainability, and e-commerce.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Innovation, Safety, Quality, and Procurement teams to identify opportunities that meet consumer and business needs.
• Serve as a SME in packaging, supporting qualification and approval processes for new packaging formats, suppliers, and manufacturing locations.
• Manage packaging validation activities, including assembly, submission, and testing to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Develop and drive systems and processes to align R&D specifications with supplier quality requirements and deliverables.
• Interface with suppliers to ensure packaging components meet design and performance specifications.
• Partner with manufacturing site operations and R&D teams to plan and implement new packaging solutions effectively.
• Proactively identify potential risks related to packaging transfers and address them early or escalate
