Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Counsel to navigate the Latam market, focusing on Mexico. You’ll support commercial transactions, draft SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and partner agreements, and provide strategic legal guidance to balance growth with risk within a dynamic compliance technology environment.

You’ll collaborate with local and global teams, advise on employment law, data privacy, and cross-border matters, and work with external counsel on select issues while leveraging AI tools to improve

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Ability to draft, negotiate, and close technology contracts independently.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows to streamline legal processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal oversight for customer contracting and commercial transactions in LatAm with focus on Mexico.
• Draft and negotiate SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and partner agreements.
• Advise on deal structuring, regulatory considerations, and risk management with sales teams.
