Wabtec LATAM is seeking a Customs Compliance Region Leader to manage and advance the company’s customs compliance strategy across LATAM, ensuring adherence to laws while enabling business operations. The role is part of the International Trade Compliance Leadership team and reports to the Director, Global Exports and Customs Compliance.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in customs compliance, a licensed broker or equivalent, and strong leadership with fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years in customs compliance with people leadership experience.
• Licensed Customs Broker or equivalent certification.
• Deep knowledge of LATAM import/export regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence.
• Spanish and English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure LATAM region compliance with customs laws and regulations.
• Operationalize the Customs Compliance Enterprise Standard.
• Develop and maintain local standard work aligned with the Enterprise Standard.
• Lead issue resolution and manage trade compliance risks.
• Provide training and monitor regulatory changes.
• Oversee customs broker/agent management.
