Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking a Last Mile Optimization Manager to lead on-road operational design and drive data-driven improvements across planning, fulfillment, and finance teams.

You will optimize channel allocation, balance network efficiency with partner satisfaction, and push for performance improvements while maintaining high service levels for customers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
• 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience.

Responsabilidades

• Managing an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders; optimizing on-road operations.
• Collaborate with AMZL and DSP teams to balance network efficiency and partner satisfaction.
• Work with Planning, Fulfillment Experience, Finance, Business Coach, Operations, FX, Amflex and other teams.
• Act as a change agent to push dependencies and gaps to meet commitments.
• Define Last Mile Operations model to determine optimal channel allocation volume.
• Lead on-road evaluation projects to align with Speed, Cost, SPR, DPPH strategies.
• Focus on Channel Allocation optimization and On-road operation projects.

The Last Mile Optimization team's primary mission centers on analyzing and designing on-road operational strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance delivery efficiency. The Last Mile Optimization Manager serves as a crucial liaison between key stakeholders, including delivery station leadership, delivery programs, finance, planning and support teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on operational objectives. By implementing sophisticated productivity initiatives and establishing clear performance metrics, the team drives continuous improvement in on-road execution. This strategic approach enables the delivery network to maintain high service levels while maximizing operational efficiency maintaining a perfect balance between delivery channels and cost-effectiveness across the entire last-mile operation.

Key job responsibilities

• Managing an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders direct to our customers, subject to seek the best efficiency in our On road operations design
• Collaborate closely with AMZL and DSP teams to ensure the proper balance between network efficiency and partner satisfaction.
• Works with key business partners such as Planning, Fulfillment Experience , Finance, Business Coach, Operations, FX, Amflex, ACES, HubDP, eDSP, and Topology
• Be a change agent who is comfortable pushing on dependencies and gaps to meet previously agreed upon commitments.
• Define Last Mile Operations model to determinate optimal channel allocation volume
• On road evaluation projects to guarantee alignment along all the strategies, such us Speed, Cost, SPR, DPPH)
• Focus on Channel Allocation optimization, On-road operation projects and On road Operation Optimization

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
• Experience hiring and developing highly effective and diverse teams.
