Job summary

Amazon Mexico is seeking a Station Manager based in Toluca, MX. You will lead the day-to-day operations of the delivery station, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while coordinating a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers.

You will drive process improvements, monitor sorting and dispatch, and adapt to fast-changing demands in a dynamic logistics environment. Fluency in Spanish and English, plus 2+ years of management experience, are required.

Amazon is seeking Station Manager with the chance to be based in Toluca, MX. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our loyal customers.

Three Key Areas That You Will Always Focus On Are Safety, Service Quality, Customer Experience, And Productivity Of Your Department. Main Activities Are

• Review the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for sort operation, manage a team group to meet all building’s goals.
• Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and Delivery service providers.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.

Supervisory Responsibilities

You will be part of the Amazon Logistics Team, responsible of the day-to-day management of the delivery station, overseeing the operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers.

Leading a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers in daily management of the delivery station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs including management representatives and their drivers.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a safe work place, properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.

In addition, one of the most important aspects of your job is to lead change at internet speed… innovation has made us the global company that we are today.

Help in daily operations: Receive, scan, lift and move shipments up to 25 kgs. Each Route shipments within the AMZL coverage area. Support and assign job duties to process assistants. Due to the nature of Amazon’s business, being able to adapt to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities. Track & monitor sorting operation and driver’s dispatch. Continual standing and/or walking an average of 5 miles daily. Ability to work in construction /distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, not air-conditioned.

Basic Qualifications

• Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• 2+ years of direct management experience
• 3+ years of general experience
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts if needed. Availability to work 50% of the time on a night shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of equivalent, or 2+ years of leadership in operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, or manufacturing experience
• Experience managing teams of 20 people or greater
• 1+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration experience
• 3+ years of supply chain experience
