Job summary

AutoZone Mexico is seeking a Labor Relations Manager to coordinate the plan and objectives of Labor Relations, ensuring compliance with the LFT and internal policies across the distribution center.

The role leads group sessions with leaders, provides daily legal guidance, delivers training on labor relations, manages union interactions, and supervises documentation and reporting to sustain a healthy, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Law degree / Attorney qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in labor matters.
• Experience with unions and union activity.
• Knowledge of LFT, IMSS, Labor Courts, Conciliation Centers/Boards.
• Strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plan and objectives of Labor Relations within the DC.

Job description

Coordinate the activities of the Plan and objectives of Labor Relations, ensuring monitoring and linkage with operations within the DC, in order to guarantee compliance and correct application of the labor relationship in the workplace.

• Ensures, improves and executes the correct application of labor relations within the company, in accordance with the provisions of the LFT, RIT, internal policies and disciplinary procedures.
• Conduct group sessions with company leaders to reinforce labor relations topics.
• Provide daily advice and support to the company on legal compliance issues and good practices for the company.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training, keeping abreast of trends and developments in the field of labor relations.
• Ensure and implement correct compliance with the company's job termination processes.
• Management of labor relations indicators and propose preventive measures for the company.
• Dealing with and managing unions and union representatives.
• Handling labor conflicts and availability to address occupational risk situations within the company.
• Promoting a healthy work environment.
• Training and guiding managers and supervisors on matters related to labor relations policies, practices, and agreements.
• Responsible for labor relations documentation and reporting.
