Kennametal Inc. is seeking a sales engineer in Baja California to maintain direct contact with customers, present technical solutions, and drive machining process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelorb2s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and strong English communication. Preferred candidates have 2–4 years of direct sales experience in the metalworking industry, proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Requirements:

• Must reside in Baja California, preferably in Tijuana or Mexicali.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Two to four years of direct sales experience in the metalworking industry.
• Knowledge of machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• At least intermediate written and spoken English. The role requires regular communication in English.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain direct contact with customers.

• Continuously follow up on improvements to machining processes.
• Follow up on commercial proposals and participate directly in negotiations.
