North American Production Sharing de México, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Junior Engineer to support engineering activities related to process improvement, planning, analysis and manufacturing operations.

You will work under supervision and contribute to project execution, process optimization and operational excellence within a manufacturing setting. The role offers exposure to NPI, Lean Six Sigma practices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• 6 to 12 months of experience in an Engineering department.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of GMPs, MRP, MTM preferred.
• Familiarity with NPI, process reengineering, Lean, Six Sigma.
• Understanding of ISO/QS quality systems, environmental standards and safety.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Power BI is a plus.

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support engineering activities related to process improvement, planning, analysis, design, and manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to develop their technical expertise while contributing to engineering projects, process optimization initiatives, and operational excellence efforts within a manufacturing environment. The position works under direct supervision and follows established procedures, standards, and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute engineering activities following established procedures, standards, and work instructions.
• Support the planning and scheduling of engineering activities, resources, and projects.
• Participate in the analysis of methods, processes, machinery, materials, and maintenance systems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in the design and development of products, processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Support quality control and process control activities to ensure operational performance and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Assist in new product introduction (NPI), process reengineering, and manufacturing improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), engineering policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• 6 to 12 months of experience within an Engineering department performing entry-level engineering activities.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), MRP, and MTM is preferred.
• Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI), process reengineering, maintenance processes, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Understanding of ISO/QS quality systems, environmental standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Experience with engineering and data analysis software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Power BI is a plus.
