Emma – The Sleep Company in Mexico City is seeking a Financial Controller to lead IFRS reporting and provide insightful analyses for management decisions. You will interface accounting data with our e-commerce platform and support investor reporting and budgeting initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in business/finance/accounting, 3+ years experience in finance, strong Excel skills, and fluent English. Hybrid work, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

• Proven MS Excel skills; MS Dynamics is a plus.
• Hands-on, analytical thinker with problem-solving ability.

Responsabilidades

• Review IFRS-based monthly, quarterly and annual statements.
• Provide actionable analysis on sales, margins, operations and liquidity.
• Interface between accounting data and e-commerce platform data.
• Support reporting to investors and financial planning.
• Organize and implement annual budgeting process.
• Analyze variances and drive countermeasures.

What you'll do:

• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in IFRS according to internal and external reporting requirements
• Provide insightful, consistent, and actionable analysis/reporting on sales & margins, operations, inventories, liquidity, and R&D projects across the country for Management decision making
• Interface function between Accounting data and our e-commerce platform data
• Support in the preparation and development of the reporting to our investors
• Organization and implementation of the yearly budget planning
• Analyse the status and variances to Company’s Accounting and data improvement projects, develop and follow‑up on countermeasures, corrective actions etc.

Who we're looking for:

• Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting
• 3 years of experience as a financial controller, auditor or accountant
• Working knowledge of accounting and controlling aspects
• Proven Ms Excel skills, MsDynamics is a plus
• Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with all levels in an organization
• Hands‑on mentality, analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and pragmatism
• Excellent communication skills in English
