Emma Sleep in Mexico City is seeking a motivated Accounting student for a role focusing on regional tax compliance across Mexico, Brazil, and the Americas. You will collaborate with the Tax & Accounting team to ensure timely tax returns and maintain IFRS-aligned processes.

You will analyze monthly financial data, support ERP data integration with our e-commerce platform (MS Dynamics 365), and assist in audits and documentation.

Formación

• Pursuing or finishing a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• MS Office with strong Excel skills; ERP systems familiarity (like MS Dynamics 365) is a plus.
• Critical thinker with problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude under tight deadlines.
• High ownership and ability to collaborate in a multicultural team.

Responsabilidades

• Regional Tax Compliance: work with Tax & Accounting to ensure timely tax returns across Mexico, Brazil, and other Americas jurisdictions.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: review monthly/quarterly data, variance analysis for sales, margins, inventories, and operational data.
• Systems & Data Integration: support ERP data integration (MS Dynamics 365) between accounting and e-commerce data.
• Cross-Border Support: participate in projects aligning local accounting with IFRS.
• Audit & Documentation Support: assist in gathering and reviewing tax certificates and accounting documentation for audits.
