Sourceability, a global electronics components distributor, seeks a Junior Excess Buyer to join the Americas Purchasing Excess Team. The role is hybrid from Guadalajara, MX, helping source excess inventory and collaborate with suppliers to align stock with customer demand.

You will assist in evaluating inventories, maintain supplier relationships, and support junior buyers on negotiations and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of experience in sales, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role.
• Strong interest in semiconductors and electronics.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong work ethic and persistence, comfortable with high-volume outreach and follow-up.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing excess and end-of-life inventory from OEMs and EMS providers.
• Outbound outreach to potential suppliers to request and follow up on excess inventory lists.
• Analyze inventory lists for pricing, demand, and market potential.
• Maintain daily follow-up with suppliers to move opportunities forward.
• Collaborate with the sales team to match inventory with customer demand.
• Ensure proper documentation and system updates, including notes and opportunity tracking.
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
• Support senior buyers with ongoing projects, negotiations, and pipeline development.
