Flex is seeking a Jr Buyer Direct in Guadalajara, North Campus to procure direct materials for production. You will manage POs, monitor supplier delivery, and support cost, quality, and on-time performance while coordinating with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Production teams.

Requirements include a BA/BS in a related field, junior experience, and strong English with ERP/MRP and Excel skills. The role offers benefits and growth within a global manufacturing partner.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Jr experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate-Advanced English (spoken and written).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Create, maintain, and follow up on purchase orders based on production demands and MRP outputs.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, order confirmations, and shipment status to prevent material shortages.
• Manage supplier relationships and support cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Review inventory levels, shortages, and excess material to ensure optimal stock management.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Production teams to resolve material issues.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, and purchasing documentation.
• Support invoice reconciliation, supplier claims, and debit/credit resolutions.
• Participate in supplier reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
