Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of experience in Cash Application, Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, Finance Operations, or a similar transactional environment.
• Knowledge of payment identification, payment application, unapplied cash, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience working with ERP or Accounts Receivable systems is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, and accurately apply customer payments.
• Review remittance information and supporting documentation to ensure payments are applied correctly.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, unidentified payments, and routine payment exceptions.
• Work with different payment methods, such as ACH, wire transfers, EFT, checks, credit cards, and lockbox payments.
• Support reconciliations, period-end activities, and accurate transaction documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to research discrepancies and resolve payment-related issues.
• Follow financial controls, standardized procedures, and quality requirements while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
