Job summary

Sonepar México & Caribe is seeking a Cash Application Analyst in Mexico City to ensure customer payments are identified, applied, and reconciled with accuracy, while handling payment exceptions and maintaining strong financial controls. The role requires 0–3 years of experience in Cash Application, Accounts Receivable, or Order-to-Cash, and fluent written and spoken English.

You will work with multiple payment methods and support end-of-period activities in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Cash Application, Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, or Finance Operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, and accurately apply customer payments.
• Review remittance information and documentation to ensure correct payments.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, unidentified payments, and standard exceptions.
• Work with methods like ACH, wire transfers, EFT, checks, credit cards, lockbox payments.
• Support reconciliations, period-end activities, and proper transaction documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
