Nov Inc. is seeking a Jr. Accountant to assist the Finance team in a multinational environment, supporting multiple North American entities. The role emphasizes detail-oriented, analytical work and adherence to deadlines while driving operational excellence.

You will handle journal entries and reconciliations, participate in month-end close, and contribute to SOX controls and audits. Excellent English communication and a proactive, independent work style are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Fluent English—written and spoken.
• Experience with General Ledger and month-end close processes.
• Proficient in preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Familiar with ERP systems, preferably Oracle/JDE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• capability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• SSC experience is a plus; knowledge of US GAAP & SOX is advantageous.
• Experience in multinational firms and audit support is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and address discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities and timely completion.
• Support SOX testing and maintain compliant documentation.
• Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with Accounting Managers and Controllers to resolve issues.
• Prepare financial information and analysis for management decisions.
• Support ad-hoc requests and cost analysis as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls.
