Nov Inc. in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to support our North America finance team.

The role focuses on general accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and SOX compliance, collaborating with Accounting Managers and Controllers. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, fluent English, and experience with GL and month-end close.

• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience in General Ledger accounting and month-end close activities.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or JDE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls is preferred.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work with good communication.

Responsabilidades

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting multiple business entities across North America, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of general accounting activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and SOX compliance, all while working closely with our Accounting Managers and Controllers.
