BCD M&E is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate recording of financial operations, monthly closing, and reconciliations. The role supports audits and process improvements, with SAP and Excel as core tools. English and Spanish are required for daily collaboration across teams.

The position involves preparing monthly entries, analyzing accounts, intercompany reconciliations, budgeting support, and timely reporting. A dynamic workplace with robust benefits awaits the right candidate.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting.
• Indispensable use of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in public accounting will be a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP desirable.
• Treasury experience desirable.
• Experience in supervision or management of personnel desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and record monthly accounting entries.
• Support and follow up on the monthly accounting closing process.
• Ensure timely compliance with the activities of the month-end checklist.
• Perform analysis of accounting accounts and variations.
• Prepare balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.
• Follow up on pending items and propose corrective actions.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany operations.
• Promote improvements to streamline and automate reconciliation processes.
• Support the accounting team in addressing operational and technical issues.
• Review processes related to accounts payable.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare reports, analyses and ad hoc investigations for management and management.
• Provide support during internal, external and intermediate audits.
• Carry out additional activities related to the accounting and financial area.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Contribute to the fulfillment of the financial objectives of the area.
• Support in the supervision and accompaniment of accounting personnel, when required.
