ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Accountant with strong experience in US GAAP and journal entry preparation. In this role, you will help maintain accurate financial records, support our close processes, and ensure proper classification and reporting of transactions. This is a hands‑on accounting role ideal for someone who understands how transactions flow through the financial statements and enjoys keeping things organized, accurate, and compliant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate, well-supported journal entries and ensure proper classification
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and account balances
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities
• Prepare and review financial information to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting
• Provide clear, actionable financial insights when needed
• Support the Finance team with ad‑hoc analysis and process improvements

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Excellent knowledge of debits, credits, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement impact
• Experience working with U.S. company accounting
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
• Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
