Placements24 is seeking a creative Jefe de Cocina to lead the kitchen of a celebrated Michoacán restaurant in Morelia. The role focuses on reinterpreting traditional Michoacán cuisine with modern techniques and artistic presentation, while honoring local ingredients and flavors.

You will manage the kitchen team, develop inspired menus, control costs, supervise inventory, ensure hygiene and HACCP compliance, and collaborate with management on events and promotions.

Qualificações

• Significant experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef with passion for regional Mexican cuisine, particularly Michoacán.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Expertise in menu development, costing, and inventory control.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute creative menus that highlight modern interpretations of traditional Michoacán dishes, using fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients.
• Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of culinary excellence and teamwork.
