Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of modern retail platforms and solutions.

You will work with senior engineers, architects, and product teams in a Dual-Track Agile environment to validate concepts, implement features, and deliver production-ready software. The ideal candidate actively develops code, embraces AI-assisted practices, and owns solutions from implementation through support.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• +3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Java, TypeScript, JavaScript or similar languages.
• Experience building cloud-native apps, APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude).
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, and modern integration patterns.
• CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, debug, and support software for retail and enterprise platforms.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Participate in discovery activities by evaluating requirements and building proofs of concepts.
• Implement user stories, tasks, APIs, and platform enhancements in Agile teams.
• Collaborate with architects to apply architectural patterns and non-functional requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment guidance.
• Contribute to code reviews and implement feedback.
• Troubleshoot defects, production issues, and operational concerns.
