Formación

Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with over 7 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, along with proven experience in designing scalable, high-performance applications. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect and implement scalable microservices‑based solutions following industry best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal and external system integrations.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and software solutions.
• Create well‑structured, reusable, and maintainable code following clean code principles and coding standards.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for relational databases.
• Implement asynchronous and event‑driven architectures using Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decision‑making.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements are met.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software engineering.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including development processes, coding standards, and automation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices‑based applications.
• Extensive experience in RESTful API design, development, documentation, and integration.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and core Java concepts, including collections, multithreading, exception handling, and concurrency.
• Solid understanding of Spring Framework components, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and dependency injection.
• Expertise in Spring annotations and framework best practices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies for event‑driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of object‑oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and ensuring code quality through automated testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
