Brillio is seeking an experienced Java Application Support professional in Mexico for Level 2/3 support of mission-critical Java applications. You will monitor health, performance, and availability across production and non-production environments, investigate incidents, and perform root-cause analysis with preventive actions.

The role requires strong Java/J2EE, Spring, Oracle, JSP/JSTL, and AWS cloud skills, plus experience with ITSM tools and CI/CD processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Java Application Support or similar roles.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for mission-critical Java applications.
• Monitor application health, performance, and availability across environments.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within SLAs.

• Support deployments, releases, and upgrades.
• Analyze logs and system behavior to identify issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve problems.
• Execute SQL queries and troubleshoot Oracle-related issues.
• Support applications hosted in AWS environments.
• Maintain and enhance Java-based applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management.
• Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for mission-critical Java applications.
• Monitor application health, performance, and availability across production and non-production environments.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents within established SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Support deployments, releases, and application upgrades.
• Analyze logs and system behavior to identify and resolve issues.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve production problems.
• Execute SQL queries and troubleshoot database-related issues in Oracle.
• Support applications hosted in AWS environments.
• Maintain and enhance existing Java-based applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and incident management activities.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Required Technical Skills

Core Technologies

• Strong experience with Java/J2EE application support and development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Core).
• Experience with Oracle Database including SQL query writing, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of JSP (Java Server Pages) and JSTL.
• Experience supporting web-based enterprise applications.
• Experience working with AWS Cloud Services such as:
• EC2
• S3
• RDS
• CloudWatch
• IAM
• Understanding of application deployment and monitoring in cloud environments.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Experience with production support processes.
• Strong debugging and log analysis skills.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools.
• Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Experience working in SLA-driven support environments.

Preferred Qualifications
