Job summary

CEVA Freight Management Mexico S.A. de C.V. in Silao, GTO, is seeking an IT Support Analyst to monitor, maintain and support the IT infrastructure within the Logistics Operations team.

You will resolve hardware, software and network incidents, manage IT assets, assist with backups, document processes and contribute to security and project implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT infrastructure support, ideally in logistics or operations.
• Knowledge of network topology, servers, desktops and peripherals.
• ITIL or ITSM familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IT infrastructure, servers, networks and systems to prevent issues.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software and network incidents.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve IT incidents and document work.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure policy compliance.

Position Overview

The IT Support Analyst will play a vital role within CEVA Freight Management Mexico S.A. de C.V., specifically in the Logistics Operations division, working from our Silao - GTO Pirelli location. This position is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the IT infrastructure to ensure seamless and efficient operations. The objective is to contribute significantly to delivering first-class IT service management, enhancing overall business productivity and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor the IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and systems to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
• Provide thorough technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests while maintaining detailed documentation.
• Maintain and update IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing agreements.
• Support the implementation of IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, new technology deployments, or process improvements.
• Assist with backup and recovery procedures to protect critical data and maintain business continuity.
• Participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurrent issues and optimize IT operations.
• Adhere to security protocols and contribute to maintaining a secure IT environment aligned with company standards.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, gather requirements, and promote user education on IT best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure support, preferably within logistics or operations-focused environments.
• Strong understanding of network topology, servers, desktops, and peripheral configurations.
• Hands-on knowledge of monitoring tools and IT service management frameworks like ITIL is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities with a collaborative approach to work across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred, supporting smooth communication within an international company.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) will be considered a plus.
