Nemak Spain SL. seeks an experienced IT/OT governance leader to provide strategic governance and technical support for manufacturing plants ensuring IEC 62443 compliance and OT resilience.

The role covers incident coordination, business continuity and cross-functional collaboration across Mexico and the United States. • Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Mechatronics or related field.
• At least 5 years in IT Operations and OT governance; shop-floor experience desirable.
• 5+ years leading technical teams; strong communication across sites.
• Deep knowledge of Purdue Model, ISA/IEC 62443, segmentation, switching, firewalls.
• ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert certification required.
• CCNP or equivalent and GICSP certifications desirable.
• English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead OT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery playbooks for production readiness.
• Audit plant network segmentation and maintain topology maps showing micro-segmentation.
• Serve as technical authority for industrial switches, firewalls and security platforms.
• Create OT asset inventory, vulnerability management and risk assessments across sites.
• Oversee OT vendors and integrators ensuring secure, logged remote access and least-privilege.
• Coordinate cross-functional incident response across maintenance, operations, IT and security.
• Lead and develop OT specialists across Mexico and the United States with guidance.

Objective

Provide strategic governance and technical support to manufacturing plants so industrial networks meet IEC 62443 and Nemak OT cybersecurity requirements. This role safeguards the IT/OT interconnection, leads OT Business Continuity planning and strengthens plant-floor resilience, manual-operation readiness and the availability of mission-critical production systems

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the secure interconnection between plant Operational Technology environments and corporate IT resources, prioritizing plant-floor availability and production continuity.
• Advise manufacturing sites so local control networks align with ISA/IEC 62443, the Purdue Model and Nemak OT cybersecurity requirements.
• Lead the OT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery playbook, including production survivability, rapid recovery and manual-operation protocols.
• Audit plant network segmentation using Zones and Conduits and maintain accurate topology maps that demonstrate micro-segmentation effectiveness.
• Serve as the technical authority for industrial switches, firewalls and security platforms that bridge IT and OT environments.
• Establish a standardized framework for OT asset inventory, vulnerability management and OT-specific risk assessments across sites.
• Manage specialized OT vendors and system integrators, ensuring secure, logged remote access and adherence to least-privilege principles.
• Coordinate cross-functional incident response among plant maintenance, operations, IT and corporate security teams.
• Lead and develop OT specialists across Mexico and the United States, providing standards, tools and technical guidance to manufacturing locations

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechatronics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations and OT governance; experience in shop-floor technical support and IT systems is desirable.
• At least 5 years of experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of the Purdue Model, ISA/IEC 62443, industrial network segmentation, modern switching, firewall concepts, OT protocols and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
• ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert certification is required.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent and Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certifications are desirable.
• Good English Communication skills, Spanish an asset
• Availability to travel up to 25%.
