Nemak is seeking an Information Technology Infrastructure Leader Americas to provide strategic governance and technical leadership for enterprise network infrastructure. You will oversee LAN/WAN operations, security, and compliance while directing DR/BCP initiatives to protect data and services across Mexico and the United States.

You will lead a team, ensure audits and controls, and manage external relationships with vendors and service providers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT operations and network architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, switching, routing, firewall concepts, cybersecurity controls, IAM/RBAC, BCDR.
• CCNP certification is required.
• CISSP and/or CISA certification is desirable.
• Proficient English and Spanish.
• Availability to travel up to 25%.
• Leadership competencies: strategic vision, change management, collaboration and innovation.

Responsabilidades

• Manage enterprise LAN/WAN operations and compliance to ensure reliable connectivity and SLAs.
• Serve as technical authority for switching, routing and firewall solutions.
• Lead design, implementation and testing of IT continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• Enforce vulnerability management, patching and configuration hardening per policies.
• Manage IAM/RBAC including access reviews and audit readiness.
• Maintain network architecture and security documentation for audits.
• Coordinate relationships with ISPs, carriers and vendors for performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead investigations of network incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead and develop infrastructure specialists across Mexico and the United States.

Information Technology Infrastructure Leader Americas

Objective

Provide strategic governance and technical leadership for enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring secure, resilient and standardized LAN/WAN services. This role leads network compliance, switching, routing and security solutions, and serves as the primary architect for IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery to protect data integrity, service availability and the digital systems that support business operations

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage enterprise LAN/WAN operations and compliance to ensure reliable connectivity for business systems and achievement of service-level commitments.
• Serve as the technical authority for modern switching, routing and firewall solutions, including product lifecycle and capacity planning.
• Lead the design, implementation and testing of IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies for corporate data centers and cloud services.
• Enforce vulnerability management, patching and configuration-hardening requirements for IT assets in alignment with corporate security policies and ISO 27001 principles.
• Manage Identity and Access Management and Role-Based Access Control, including periodic access reviews and audit readiness.
• Maintain accurate network architecture, security-control and compliance documentation for internal and external audits.
• Manage strategic relationships with internet service providers, telecommunications carriers and IT hardware/service vendors to support performance, service quality and cost effectiveness.
• Lead technical investigations of network incidents, complete root-cause analyses and coordinate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead and develop infrastructure specialists across Mexico and the United States, promoting collaboration, standardization and continuous improvement.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations and network architecture; experience with IT systems is desirable.
• At least 5 years of experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, modern switching, routing, firewall concepts, cybersecurity controls, IAM/RBAC, vulnerability management and IT Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is required.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is desirable.
• Proficient English and Spanish.
• Availability to travel up to 25%.
