Demant Operations, S.A. de C.V. is seeking an ERP and application support specialist in Tijuana.

You will bridge business users and IT, ensuring application reliability and contributing to data-driven insights. You will lead support for ERP platforms, system upgrades, testing, and cross-functional IT initiatives. Qualifications include 3+ years in ERP support in manufacturing, strong data analysis, and bilingual communication.

Formación

• Degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• 3+ years in application or ERP support within manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, and business applications (QAD).
• Solid understanding of business processes and data analysis.
• Familiarity with printing systems, RFID, CCTV, and access control infrastructure.
• Bilingual proficiency across English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Register activities in Remedy or other service desk platforms with time logging.
• Provide Level 3 and functional support for business systems such as QAD, Astro, FNCP, ADAPT, WATS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related tickets and escalate when needed.
• Lead analysis of business needs and translate into technical or functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand strategic goals and operational drivers.
• Support system upgrades, installations, testing, and change management activities.
• Create and maintain functional documentation and knowledge bases.
• Assist in project planning and execution, including training.
• Support RFID devices, printing systems, CCTV, and access control infrastructure.

Provides first-line support and functional consultancy for key business applications and systems across manufacturing and administrative areas. Acts as a bridge between business users and the IT department, ensuring application reliability, facilitating upgrades, and delivering data-driven insights. This role also leads support for ERP platforms, project execution and critical infrastructure and security systems. Collaborates closely with corporate and global teams to implement scalable, efficient, and user-centered solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Register all activities in Remedy or other service desk platforms, including time logging.
• Provide Level 3 and functional support for business systems such as QAD, Astro, FNCP, ADAPT, WATS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related tickets; escalate and follow up as needed.
• Lead analysis of business needs and translate into technical or functional requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and operational drivers.
• Act as the point of contact for cross-functional IT coordination and test support.
• Provide insight and identify solutions to support business reporting and data analytics.
• Participate in system upgrades, installations, and testing, in collaboration with corporate teams.
• Offer guidance on current system capabilities and suggest improvement opportunities.
• Create and maintain functional documentation and knowledge bases.
• Assist in project planning and execution, including change management and training.
• Support RFID devices, label printing (NPT), and printing systems
• Support and administer CCTV and door access control systems
• Execute and manage backups of critical production PCs
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives Production transfers .
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within IT and with business units.
• Participate in departmental and general meetings

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science
• 3+ years in application or ERP support in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP, WMS and business applications (QAD).
• Solid understanding of business processes and data analysis.
• Familiarity with printing systems, RFID, CCTV, and access control infrastructure.
• Bilingual
