Ivemsa in Tecate, Mexico is seeking an IT specialist to provide enterprise system support and development for essential systems. You will troubleshoot MSSQL, SAP, MES, Lotus Notes, SCADA, and EDI platforms while building internal tools in Python and C#.

The role emphasizes solving long-standing IT issues, maintaining system health, and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure smooth operations for the business.

Formación

• 3+ years in IT field with software development preferred.
• Understanding of EDI processes and data integration is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience resolving complex IT issues.
• Clear spoken and written English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide robust enterprise system support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support MSSQL databases, SAP, MES, Lotus Notes, SCADA, and EDI platforms.
• Develop and debug internal tools using Python and C#.
• Manage a portion of IT operational workload for business continuity.
• Investigate root causes and accelerate closure of long-standing tickets.
• Monitor system health and implement performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise System Support: Provide robust technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for vital enterprise systems,
• including MSSQL databases, SAP, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), Lotus Notes, SCADA, and EDI platforms.
• Software Development & Scripting: Develop, maintain, and debug internal tools, scripts, and applications utilizing Python and C#.
• Operational Workload Management: Take over and effectively manage a designated portion of the current IT operational workload, ensuring smooth day-to-day business continuity.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate root causes of recurring problems and accelerate the closure of long‑outstanding IT tickets and system bottlenecks.
• System Optimization: Proactively monitor system health, implement performance tuning, and improve overall system stability and incident response capabilities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other IT staff, department heads, and end-users to understand system needs and deliver effective technical solutions.

Experience & Qualifications

• Working Experience : 3+ years in IT Field, software development is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of EDI processes and data integration is highly preferred.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex, long-standing IT and software issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
