Arrow Electronics in Tlaquepaque, Mexico is seeking an Asset Specialist I to support procurement, forecast handling, and supplier coordination to optimize inventory turns and profitability.

The role requires 4 years in procurement and 2 years in inventory management, with strong negotiation, fluent English, Excel and MS Office skills. Oracle ERP is preferred. You will build relationships with suppliers and sales teams to drive profitability.

Formación

• 4 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
• 2 years of experience in Inventory Management.
• Experience with price negotiation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate Excel skills required.
• Ability to build and maintain internal/external professional relationships with suppliers, reps and sales personnel.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate both Arrow generated and customer supplied forecast uploads and manage exceptions.
• Review parameters and make recommendations to ensure achievement of inventory turns goals.
• Manage inventory using Arrow systems to assure best forecast input.
• Manage parts and engagements to assure adequate supply and maximum turns.
• Manage excess inventory including concentration on slow moving and/or sludge.
• Work with sales team on developing strategies to win customer quotes.
• Implement strategic supplier focused programs and provide updates to the sales team.
• Strategically drive profitability through communication with external suppliers and sales teams.
