Job summary

Kinetiq seeks an Inventory Lead for its Matehuala, SLP, Mexico plant to own materials control and partner with the U.S. finance team. You will lead cycle counts, monitor stock levels, and optimize inventory costs with close collaboration to the U.S. team.

The role reports to plant leadership, uses JD Edwards ERP, and requires strong English communication. Opportunity to influence inventory strategy in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of inventory control experience in manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of inventory costing from a financial perspective.
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP is required.
• Advanced English for daily communication with the U.S. team.

• Follow up on work order closures and inventory movements.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to maintain optimal stock.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete inventory and propose actions.
• Develop reorder points, safety stock, and EOQs.
• Coordinate reviews with Supply Chain and drive process improvements.
• Prepare inventory performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with U.S. Inventory Analyst and Senior Accounting team.

Inventory Lead – Matehuala, S.L.P., Mexico

Kinetiq is looking for an Inventory Lead for a multinational manufacturing company at its Matehuala plant. This role will own material control for the entire plant and will work closely with the finance team in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead cycle counts and physical inventory for the plant.
• Follow up on work order (WO) closures and inventory movements (MUV).
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to maintain optimal stock.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete inventory and recommend actions.
• Develop reorder points, safety stock, and economic order quantities.
• Coordinate reviews with Supply Chain and support process improvements to reduce waste and improve inventory accuracy.
• Prepare inventory performance reports for management.
• Work alongside the Inventory Analyst and Senior Accounting team in the U.S.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar inventory control role in manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of inventory costing from a financial perspective.
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP. (REQUIRED)
• Advanced English for daily communication with the U.S. team.
