Job summary

KINETIQ in Matehuala, Mexico, seeks an Assistant Plant Controller to analyze results, review variances, and drive root-cause investigations in our manufacturing plant.

The role centers on weekly and monthly performance analysis, cost analysis for maintenance and transport, budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring internal controls are followed at the plant. Fluency in English and experience with JD Edwards are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven analytical capabilities with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English proficiency and communication skills.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Review results for reasonableness, identify variances, and investigate root causes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly plant performance analysis, including production and plant loss reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost analysis for areas such as maintenance and transportation.
• Support plant planning processes with variance analysis and commentary.
• Support plant budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor compliance with procedures and internal controls related to plant operations.
