Midea LATAM North seeks a Latam Internal Control Specialist to lead internal control across Latam BUs, reporting to the Regional Internal Control Function Head.

You will develop the annual control work plan, execute tests, coordinate audits, and support remediation actions while ensuring system workflows and enterprise risk management alignment across the Latam sub-region.

Formación

• 3+ years in internal control/audit/compliance in multinationals; Big Four experience welcome.
• Knowledge of Commercial and Operations processes and systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Plan and execute short-term/high-impact projects; write and communicate professional reports.
• Ability to communicate with senior management and manage exposure.
• Willingness to travel for business.
• Finance/Accounting/Business Administration degree.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Chinese valued.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the annual internal control work plan and align with BU GMs, Region and MIB IC.
• Execute Testing Plan to achieve 30%+ annual coverage of Internal Controls in the sub-region.
• Perform Targeted Scope Audits as planned or when needed based on BU/MIB concerns.
• Coordinate Corporate Internal Audits and Inspections by Midea Group Audit or MIB.
• Follow up on remediation actions and ensure progress, closing gaps timely.
• Support Annual Training program and policy development for all BUs.
• Ensure iBOS, iERP and other workflows align with Midea approvals.
• Coordinate and report annual Enterprise Risk Management with BU Management.

We are currently looking for a Latam Internal Control Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

Main responsible for Internal Control Management at Region Level covering all Latam BUs, reporting to Regional Internal Control Function Head.Main contact point for MIB and MG Internal Control requirements

What will you do?

Following responsibilities are applicable to all Latam BUs

• Preparation of the annual internal control work plan and priority alignment with BU GMs, Region and MIB Internal Control
• Execute Testing Plan and achieve 30% or more annual coverage of Internal Controls for the sub-region
• Execute Targeted Scope Audits as planned or as required based on BU or MIB Management concerns
• Assistance and coordination of Corporate Internal Audits performed by Midea Group Audit or Inspections performed by MIB
• Follow up and support BU Management on rectification actions and close gaps within the determined deadline. Closure of Action Plans must achieve at least 50% annual progress
• Compliance:Support on Annual Training program and support on policy development for all BUs
• Responsible to ensure iBOS, iERP and other systems workflows are in place and in accordance to Midea Approval Matrix.
• Coordinate and report annual Enterprise Risk Management process done with BU Management

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years in similar positions such as Internal Control, Internal Audit, Anti-fraud or Compliance Specialist in multi-national companies. Experience at big four audit firms is welcome
• Knowledge of Commercial and Operations processes and systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Ability to plan and execute short-term and high-impact projects such as a targeted scope audit. Ability to deal with people at all levels. Ability to write and communicate professional reports
• Points of attention: Ability to communicate with senior management and manage professional/work exposure
• Available for Business trips
• Major on Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
• Proficient in Spanish and English. Chinese is highly valued
