Signify is seeking a motivated engineering intern for the Cooper Lighting Solutions Monterrey plant. The role offers hands-on exposure to BOMs, project economics, and manufacturing equipment commissioning within a global lighting leader.

You will collaborate on assembly cell design, work instruction development, time studies, and line balancing, while applying CAD tools and BI software. This internship targets current engineering students available in Monterrey.

Formación

• Engineering student in Electrical/Electronic/Automation/Mechatronics/Industrial fields.
• Conversational English.
• Proactive, self-taught, responsible.
• Familiar with SolidWorks or any 3D CAD software.
• Proficient with MS Office and Power BI.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in creating: Bills of Materials, capital investment business cases for approval, procurement, tracking, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate in the design and development of assembly cells.
• Assist in developing work instructions, time studies, and line balancing.
• Collaborate in the design of electrical diagrams for luminaires.
• Assist in coordinating pilot runs of new launches.

Key responsibilities

• Colaborar en la creación de: Billetes de Materiales, Business Cases para aprobación de Inversiones de Capital, Compra, seguimiento, instalación y puesta en marcha de nuevos equipos de manufactura.
• Colaboración en el diseño y desarrollo de celdas de ensamble
• Asistir en el Desarrollo de Instrucciones de Trabajo, toma de tiempos y balanceo de líneas.
• Colaboración en el diseño de Diagramas eléctricos de Luminarias
• Asistir en la coordinación de Corridas Piloto de nuevos lanzamientos
