World Wide Technology (WWT) is hiring an Instructional Designer to develop scalable eLearning, classroom, and blended curriculums. You will work with subject matter experts to design content, manage learning solutions, and measure impact in a fast-paced environment.

Join a team focused on innovative learning technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, and contribute to high-volume training across the organization while leveraging tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise.

• Experience creating digital learning content using instructional design, multimedia, and visual communication best practices.
• Experience with LMS, eLearning authoring tools, and collaboration platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance content development and learner engagement.

• Support administration of learning technologies including content publishing, reporting, testing, and training coordination.
• Explore and implement emerging learning technologies to drive innovation.

The Instructional Designer develops content that creates a dynamic and engaging learning experience that supports the needs of the business. This position works with subject matter experts to understand needs and identify appropriate training method options. The Instructional Designer will support the creation of eLearning, classroom, and blended curriculums in a high-volume training department. The majority of work will focus on creating and supporting scalable learning solutions, managing learning content, and helping business partners achieve desired performance outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Consults with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to identify business, performance, and learning needs through discovery, analysis, and intake processes.
• Provides guidance and support to business teams, facilitators, and content owners in the delivery and adoption of learning solutions.
• Creates learning and performance support materials using an agile, learner-centered approach, including discovery, design, development, implementation, and measurement.
• Incorporates learning effectiveness and business impact considerations into the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of learning solutions.
• Partners with business teams, system owners, and technology stakeholders to understand business processes, systems, and user requirements, translating those needs into effective learning and performance support solutions.
• Develops learning and performance support resources using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, PowerPoint, video editing tools, and other learning technologies.
• Designs and maintains learning solutions including eLearning, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, presentations, performance support resources, and blended learning experiences based on learner and business needs.
• Supports the administration of learning technologies and programs, including content publishing, assignments, reporting, testing, instructor-led training coordination, and learner support.
• Responds to learning technology incidents, service requests, and troubleshooting inquiries while ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
• Explores and implements emerging learning technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to drive innovation and improve the effectiveness of learning and performance support resources.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' progressive experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting learning, performance support, talent development, or learning technologies within a corporate or educational environment.
• Experience creating digital learning content using instructional design, multimedia, and visual communication best practices.
• Experience with learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning authoring tools, and collaboration platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance content development, learner engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder partnership skills with the ability to translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.
• Ability to use innovative ways to achieve business objectives
• Experience measuring learning effectiveness through evaluations, learner feedback, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
