Intel is seeking a Development Tools Software Engineer in Mexico, Guadalajara, to design, develop, and optimize software tools for silicon debug, validation, and production processes. You will collaborate with validation teams and external partners to deliver tool functionality that accelerates silicon product readiness and market delivery.

The role involves debugging, documentation, customer support, and hardware-software integration with JTAG/I3C/SMBus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in object-oriented software development and debugging.
• Experience with hardware-software integration and debugging.
• Proficiency in Python, C, and C++.
• Advanced English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enhance software tools for silicon debug, validation, and manufacturing test processes.
• Debug and fix software issues and create functional documentation.
• Provide technical support to customers and identify root causes for silicon power-on issues.
• Work on hardware-software integration and debug for tools with JTAG, I3C, SMBus, or silicon TAP topology.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to agile processes.
