Intel Corporation in Guadalajara is hiring a Development Tools Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize software tools that support silicon debug, validation, and production processes. You will collaborate with validation engineering teams and external customers, debug issues, document functionality, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to agile practices.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/CE/EE, 4+ years in object‑oriented software development with Python, C and C++,

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience with object‑oriented software development and debugging.
Experience in hardware-software integration and debug.
Proficient in Python, C, and C++.
Experience with Git/GitHub.
Advanced English skills.
Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico.

Responsabilidades

Develop and enhance software tools for silicon debug, validation, and manufacturing test processes.
Collaborate with validation engineering teams and external customers to ensure tools leverage latest silicon debug features.
Debug and fix software issues, validate and document functionality, and create technical documentation.
Provide technical support to customers, assisting with tool usage and root cause analysis for silicon power-on issues.
Work on hardware-software integration and debug for tools with JTAG, I3C, SMBus, or silicon TAP topology.
Mentor and guide less experienced engineers; contribute to agile processes like Scrum and Kanban.
