Flex is seeking a Process Engineer in Guadalajara North to join our production engineering team. You will report to the Test Engineering Manager and support the implementation of capital equipment and new processes for manufacturing great products.

You will help establish robust processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive cycle time improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Advanced English and a bachelor’s degree are required, and the role supports training and equipment

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara North.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager , the Process Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.


• Oversee new process equipment production.


• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.


• Trouble shoot process related issues.


• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.


• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.


• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.


• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.


• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.


• Experience in attention in audits.


• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.


• Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.


• Experience in repair procedures

• Review processing methods.


• Experience working with teams.


• Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.


• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.


• Lead cost improvement/reduction programs.
