Flex is seeking a Process Engineer in Guadalajara North to support production teams in capital equipment installation, process development, and efficiency improvements. You will collaborate with Test Engineering and production staff to ensure robust processes and effective problem solving.

The role emphasizes training development, equipment maintenance support, and cross-functional participation in cost-saving initiatives.

Formación

• Advanced English is required.
• Bachelor Degree is required.
• Review processing methods.
• Experience working with teams.
• Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.
• Lead cost improvement/reduction programs.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara North. Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Experience in attention in audits.
• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience in repair procedures.
