Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Engineering Planning II engineer at the Mexicali facility to support on-time manufacturing, quality standards, and continuous improvement. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to update manufacturing standards and ensure alignment with design requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Implement engineering changes on existing products to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Provide planning for materials and tools required for manufacturing.
• Support shop floor with First Articles from engineering changes and transfers (RCCA, DR/DI's, Redlines, WOA, rework).
• Evaluate manufacturing processes to improve efficiency through planning and design improvements.
• Participate in projects and implement process improvements.
• Handle medium to high complexity tasks.
• Coordinate with other positions and areas to increase collaboration.
• Attend CRB and TR meetings.
• Support RPS on shop floor and quality meetings.

Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering. Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering. Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering. 2 years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Position Purpose

Manufacturing Planner Engineer provides the necessary support to facilitate the manufacture of the product, meeting the design requirements and quality standards and timely deliveries, seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives.Work closely with the other groups to update and improve the standard for manufacturing as applicable.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

• Responsible for implementing on time and quality engineering changes on existing products and participates in the transfer of new products .
• Ensuring requirements planning, material and necessary tools for product manufacturing .
• Shop floor support to First Articles derived from engineering changes and / or transfers (RCCA,DR/DI's, Redlines, WOA, rework routines, etc.) .
• Evaluates manufacturing processes to Improves efficiency by analyzing planning and design improvements in shop floor .
• Participate in projects and implement improvements in the process .
• Medium to high complexity tasks .
• Increase work relation with others position and areas .
• Assist and participate on CRB and TR meetings.

Additional Functions

• Support RPS on shop floor and quality meeting. .

Perform other duties as assigned.
