Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Mexicali invites a Manufacturing Engineer PI3 to support CNC development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in line with engineering requirements and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Aerospace Engineering and 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes, with proficiency in RCCA, lean concepts and various CAD/CAM tools. Travel up to 25% and fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience with aerospace industry standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support CNC development programs for new products with 3, 4 and 5 axes.
• Implement CNC projects; analyze and plan concepts.
• Support other departments and RCCA analysis.
• Address internal and external quality problems; lead improvements.
• Create TMO's and MRRS work plans; manage rework routines.
• Submit ECR's.
• Create Visual aids (SOPs & IWIs).
• Work plan/BOM, Red lines/WOA's and Rework routines (DR/DI).
• Generate TMO's and lead lean innovation projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose: Provides the necessary support to ensure manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards and seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the SBU. Support Projects.

• Support on the CNC development programs for the new products of 3, 4 and 5 axes

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes.

Work closely with the other groups to update and improve the standard for manufacturing as applicable.

• Generate TMO's .
• MRRs work plan .
• Responsible of RCCA and execute projects to improve manufacturing .
• Lead and participate on innovation projects using lean manufacturing concepts.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements

• Research and implement new manufacturing technologies for existing processes.
• Experience with Aerospace Industry Standards (Specification).
• Desired assembly processes knowledge.
• Skills on Special Processes and Pyrometry.
• English spoken and written (80% advanced).
• Catia V4 & V5.
• Smarteam.
• CAS/Solumina.
• Autocad.
• MS project.
• Power BI and additive manufacturing.
