Gulfstream Aerospace Mexicali is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer PI3 to support CNC development for 3–5 axis products, drive lean manufacturing initiatives, and tackle RCCA issues. The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include creating TMO's, planning work orders, and collaborating across departments to continuously improve product realization and delivery performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing processes.

Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering. Bachelor's Degree Mechatronic Engineering. Bachelor's Degree Aerospace Engineering. 2-5 years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Position Purpose

Provides the necessary support to ensure manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards and seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the SBU.Support Projects.

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes.

Provides the necessary support to facilitate the manufacture of the product, meeting the design requirements and quality standards and timely deliveries, seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the SBU.Work closely with the other groups to update and improve the standard for manufacturing as applicable.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Submit ECR's .
• Create Visual aids (SOP's & IWIs) .
• Work plan/BOM, Red lines/WOA's and Rework routines (DR/DI) .
• Generate TMO's .
• MRR’s work plan .
• Responsible of RCCA and execute projects to improve manufacturing .
• Lead and participate on innovation projects using lean manufacturing concepts.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• Research and implement new manufacturing technologies for existing processes.
• Experience with Aerospace Industry Standards (Specification).
• Desired assembly processes knowledge.
• Skills on Special Processes and Pyrometry.
• English spoken and written (80% advanced).
• Catia V4 & V5.
• Smarteam.
• CAS/Solumina.
• Autocad.
• MS project.
• Power BI and additive manufacturing.
