Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Diagnostic Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team operating from anywhere in Mexico. Lead diagnostic tool development, analyze complex vehicle systems, and collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams.

The role emphasizes autonomy, strong problem-solving, and clear virtual communication within a remote-first culture. Fluency in Spanish is required; English is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and system analysis.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic equipment and software (CANalyzer, INCA, oscilloscopes).
• Strong understanding of ECUs and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Experience with data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Fluent Spanish; English a plus.

• Strong understanding of automotive electronic control units (ECUs) and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Experience with data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
• Proficiency in English is a plus.
• Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity concepts is desirable.
