Placements24 is seeking an advanced Automotive Electronics Engineer to join the Cancún team. You will design and test ECUs, develop embedded firmware, and ensure automotive standards compliance.

The role emphasizes circuit design, component selection, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setup, with a focus on next-generation vehicle electronics and power management innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of automotive electronics design and development experience.
• Proficiency with circuit design and simulation tools (Altium/SPICE) and embedded firmware (C/C++).
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN/Ethernet and automotive testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for automotive applications.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and select components.
• Develop embedded firmware for automotive ECUs using C/C++.
• Perform hardware testing, debugging, and validation of electronic systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex electronic issues in vehicles.
• Collaborate with software and mechanical engineers and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs meet reliability, safety, and EMC standards.
• Develop and execute test plans for electronic components and systems.
• Stay updated on emerging automotive electronic technologies and trends.
• Document design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
