Placements24 in Aguascalientes, Mexico is seeking an Automotive Electronics Product Development Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge electronic systems, including ECUs, PCBs, and sensors for infotainment, ADAS, and powertrain control. You will drive hardware-software integration, validation testing, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive hardware/embedded software, experience with Altium/Cadence,

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
Minimum 5 years in electronic hardware and embedded software development, automotive preferred.
Proficient with schematic capture and PCB layouts (Altium, Cadence).
Experienced with ARM Cortex-M, NXP, Infineon MCUs and development tools.

Responsibilities

Design, test electronic hardware for automotive applications, including PCBs, microcontrollers, and sensors.
Develop embedded software and firmware for automotive ECUs.
Collaborate with system architects, software and mechanical engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
Perform hardware-software integration and validation testing.
Ensure designs comply with automotive standards (AEC-Q100, ISO 26262) and customer specifications.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and prepare release documentation.
