• Experienced with ARM Cortex-M, NXP, Infineon MCUs and development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electronic hardware for automotive applications, including PCBs, microcontrollers, and sensors.
• Develop embedded software and firmware for automotive electronic control units (ECUs).
• Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and mechanical engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform hardware-software integration and validation testing.
• Utilize simulation and modeling tools for design verification and performance analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with automotive standards (e.g., AEC-Q100, ISO 26262) and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and release documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in automotive electronics.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic hardware and embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).
• Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, NXP, Infineon) and associated development tools.
• Knowledge of embedded C/C++ programming and debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
• Understanding of functional safety concepts (ISO 26262) is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is highly desirable.
