Placements24 in Cuernavaca, Morelos, is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer for ADAS to join our team. This hybrid role tests software powering advanced driver-assistance features and collaborates with developers and system engineers to identify defects.

You will design and execute test plans, implement automated scripts, and perform functional, regression and performance tests. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ automotive software testing experience with Python/C++ and Jira are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automotive systems.
Experience testing ADAS features or similar complex embedded systems.
Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++).
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet).
Experience with software testing methodologies and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ADAS software features (e.g., adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking).
Design and implement automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of ADAS software components.
Analyze test results, identify software defects, and report them clearly and concisely.
Collaborate with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
Work with simulation environments and real-world vehicle testing as needed.
Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and tools.
Document test procedures, results, and defect reports.
Participate in code reviews and design discussions for ADAS software.
