Flex is seeking an Information Technology Manager for its Guadalajara, North Campus site. The role reports to the Sr IT Manager and leads IT initiatives, ensuring reliable infrastructure including servers, databases, and networks.

You will drive projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet business needs. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in IT, has prior IT leadership experience, and is fluent in English.

• Experience in a role with junior leadership responsibilities and IT projects.
• Fluent English proficiency, technical and conversational.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT initiatives and ensure operation of servers, databases, and networks.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage IT support and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with managers to determine information needs and install/configure systems.
• Select, develop and evaluate IT personnel to maintain efficient operations.
• Direct daily IT department activities to maximize system utilization within budget.
• Manage relationships with service providers and SLAs for outsourced infrastructure.
• Oversee business continuity and recovery planning for information systems.

Combines technical knowledge with strategic leadership, project management, and ITIL-based operations.What a typical day looks like:Drives execution, manages timelines and stakeholders, and partners with customers to understand requirements, negotiate solutions, communicate technical complexities, and achieve win-win business outcomes.Plan, prioritize, and manage IT support and maintenance activities to ensure that organization’s information systems function reliably and that IT resources are used effectively.Liaise with functional or operational area managers to understand their current and future information needs and determine how information systems should be installed, configured, and maintained to best meet these needs.Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of information systems professionals and support staff to ensure that the organization’s information systems are supported effectively and within budget.Approve system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.Direct daily department activities in order to maximize system utilization and support business needs as it pertains to a site’s IT infrastructure. Examples include IMAC, VMAC, and responding to Help Desk tickets.Manages the relationship with the service providers of any outsourced infrastructure component.
