Flex is seeking an Information Technology Manager in Guadalajara, North Campus, reporting to the Sr IT Manager. The role leads IT initiatives and ensures effective operation of servers, databases, and networks with strategic leadership and ITIL-based operations.

You will drive execution, manage IT support, liaise with managers to meet information needs, lead IT staff, approve budgets, and oversee business continuity and recovery of information systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience leading IT projects with junior leadership responsibilities.
• Experience managing IT teams, including personnel and resources (infrastructure, budget, and CAPEX).
• Knowledge of compliance and cybersecurity.
• Fluent English proficiency, both technical and conversational.

• Plan, prioritize, and manage IT support and maintenance activities to ensure information systems function reliably.
• Liaise with managers to understand information needs and determine how information systems should be installed and maintained.
• Lead, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
• Direct daily department activities to maximize system utilization and support business needs for IT infrastructure (IMAC, VMAC, Help Desk).
• Manage service providers, SLAs, cost issues, and vendor negotiations.
• Oversee business continuity and recovery of information systems, including needs analysis, design, plan development, implementation and documentation.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Information Technology manager, located in Guadalajara, North Campus

Reporting to the Sr IT Manager the IT Manager wil act as main point of contact, leading IT initiatives and ensuring the effective operation of infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networks. Combines technical knowledge with strategic leadership, project management, and ITIL-based operations.

What a typical day looks like:

• Drives execution, manages timelines and stakeholders, and partners with customers to understand requirements, negotiate solutions, communicate technical complexities, and achieve win-win business outcomes.

• Plan, prioritize, and manage IT support and maintenance activities to ensure that organization’s information systems function reliably and that IT resources are used effectively.

• Liaise with functional or operational area managers to understand their current and future information needs and determine how information systems should be installed, configured, and maintained to best meet these needs.

• Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of information systems professionals and support staff to ensure that the organization’s information systems are supported effectively and within budget.

• Approve system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.

• Direct daily department activities in order to maximize system utilization and support business needs as it pertains to a site’s IT infrastructure. Examples include IMAC, VMAC, and responding to Help Desk tickets.

• Manages the relationship with the service providers of any outsourced infrastructure component. This includes managing the service level agreement, change management, maintaining a thorough understanding of cost issues including participating in negotiation of new cost schedules.

• Manage business continuity and recovery of company’s information systems, including needs analysis, design, plan development, implementation and documentation.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role with junior leadership responsibilities, leading IT projects.
• Fluent English proficiency, both technical and conversational.
• Knowledge of compliance and/or cybersecurity.
• Experience managing IT teams, including personnel and resources (infrastructure, budget, and CAPEX).
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure is preferred.
• Basic understanding of project management principles.
