Job summary

Mercedes-Benz México seeks an IT leader to steer regional IT initiatives across Common Functions, Aftersales, and Group Distributors. You will translate business needs into IT roadmaps, manage delivery, and oversee daily operations while guiding a small IT team in a dynamic automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Strategic IT business partnership: serve as the primary IT contact for regional stakeholders and translate business needs into IT roadmaps
• Project and solution delivery: manage IT projects ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery and alignment with global architecture and security guidelines
• Operation and service management: oversee daily IT operations, ensure SLA adherence and high user satisfaction
• Team management: lead and coach a team (1 IT Lead for Aftersales, 1 IT Lead for GD markets) with prioritization and guidance

Job description

Lead and manage IT systems for Common Functions (Finance, Controlling, HR, Legal, Compliance, Marketing), Aftersales, and Group Distributors across the LATAM region. This role will drive business-focused, secure, and efficient IT solutions aligned with regional and global strategies

Day to day (main tasks):

• Strategic IT Business Partnership: Serve as the primary IT contact for regional stakeholders in Common Functions, Aftersales, and Group Distributor (GD) markets. Translate business needs into IT roadmaps and solutions. Identify and promote digitalization opportunities across domains
• Project and solution delivery: Manage IT projects in the supported domains; ensure timely, cost-effective delivery. Ensure solutions align with global architecture, platforms, and security guidelines. Drive adoption and change management for new systems or enhancements
• Operation and service Management: Oversee daily IT operations and services for supported areas. Ensure reliable support, SLA adherence, and high user satisfaction. Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and global service providers
• TEAM Management: Lead and coach a team (1 IT Lead for Aftersales, 1 IT Lead for GD markets). Set priorities, provide guidance, and ensure effective delivery of team responsibilities. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Bachelor´s degree with focus on Business Administration or in IT
• Experience: 7-8 years of proven work experience in IT and/or automotive industry
• Areas of Knowledge: Solid understanding of automobile business processes, Strong Project Management skills, Familiarity with DMS, ERP and CRM systems.
