SANMINA-SCI TECHNOLOGY INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator to join our IT team in managing the Windows server infrastructure, end-user systems, and core business applications.

The role emphasizes Active Directory, asset/inventory management, endpoint security, patch management, and virtualization, with a focus on security, availability, and performance across the environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Windows Server and Desktop administration in a professional IT environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, monitor, and maintain the Windows Server environment (2016/2019/2022).
• Administer Active Directory, including GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and user/group management.
• Ensure security, availability, and performance of domain services.
• Develop and maintain accurate IT asset inventory; manage lifecycle and licenses.
• Implement and manage endpoint management for deployment, security, and patches.
• Plan, test, and deploy OS and application patches across the environment.
• Manage endpoint security solutions (antivirus/anti-malware, HIPs).
• Administer and support application/desktop virtualization and VDI images.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot server/network issues; document configurations.
• Provide third-tier support for Windows-related issues.

Overview

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Windows System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and support of our Windows server infrastructure, end-user systems, and core business applications. This role requires expertise in Active Directory, strong knowledge of asset and inventory management, proficiency in endpoint security and patch management, and experience with virtualization platforms.

Windows Endpoint Services

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain the organization's Microsoft Windows Server environment (2016/2019/2022).
• Administer and support Active Directory (AD), including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and user/group management.
• Ensure the security, availability, and performance of critical domain services.

Asset and Inventory Management

• Develop and maintain accurate inventory records of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
• Implement and manage an asset tracking system to monitor the lifecycle of devices and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with procurement to manage hardware refreshes and software license renewals.

Endpoint and Patch Management

• Implement, configure, and maintain endpoint management solutions for deployment, security, and monitoring.
• Plan, test, and deploy operating system and application patches across the entire environment to ensure systems are secure and up-to-date.
• Manage endpoint security solutions, including anti-virus/anti-malware and host intrusion prevention systems.

Application and Desktop Virtualization

• Administer and support application and desktop virtualization platforms.
• Manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) images, profiles, and access.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of virtual environments.

General System Administration

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues across the server and network infrastructure (vlans, routing, firewalls).
• Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Document system configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
• Provide third-tier support for all Windows-related issues.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Windows Server and Desktop administration in a professional IT environment.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
• Proven experience with endpoint management tools.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
